Skype software is needed for Sales-n-Stats voice chats. To enable an operator to have voice chats using Skype, select the 'Enable voice chat using Skype' option in the System settings -> General setttings -> Chat (or in the operator profile if you are using Enterprise Edition).

If a visitor selects Voice Chat, a Skype chat window is opened and all further communication is done through Skype. The operator can leave text notes in the corresponding field in the visitor's profile. When the chat is over, he can click 'Add note' and all the notes made during the chat session get added to the message history together with the chat duration. They can be viewed by selecting the 'Messages' tab and clicking on the 'Calls' button. You can also send text messages through Skype chat window, but they will not be saved and displayed in the messages history.

If voice/Skype chat is in progress, the 'Hold' and 'Transfer call' buttons are disabled.

Clicking the  'End communication' button ends the voice chat.
