Integrating your website

Return to Introduction  Previous page  Next page

At this step you provide the information about the site you want to monitor with the help of Sales-n-Stats.

Type your site URL in the 'Primary site URL' field. For example, http://www.example.com/shop.

Type a short site name to be used in forms and reports in the 'Short site name' field. For example, 'My store'. Sales-n-Stats can be automatically incorporated into the supported software (see 'Using Sales-n-Stats with compatible software' section of this manual).

After you enter the site URL and click 'Next', Sales-n-Stats will try to detect the type of web software you're running at your site. If it's on the list, Sales-n-Stats will do all that is required by itself. If the web software is not listed, Sales-n-Stats will offer manual integration, that is copying specific HTML code somewhere on your website.

If the software installed on the website is not on the list, you need to integrate your website manually, using the information from the 'Integration' section of this manual.

Be sure to provide root URL of the software installation (for example, http://www.example.com/shop, but not http://www.example.com/shop/products).

To add additional URLs in the 'Additional URLs' field (https or domain aliases: for example, https://www.example.com or http://example.com): type a URL and click 'Add'. To remove a URL from the list select it and click 'Delete'.

Click 'Next' and enter the username and password to login to the admin zone. Select the 'Save username/password' option to remember your login data.

You can install Sales-n-Stats without integrating any website. To postpone site integration click 'Skip website integration' and proceed to the next step.
